Welcome to my website. I hope you enjoy the fire service history, which has been part of my fire service career of fifty-two years, as well as other fire service related information, photographs and links to other websites.

I am honored to continue to serve the fire service community on the boards of directors for the International Fire Service Research Center and Policy Institute, International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation and Vice President of the National Fire Heritage Center (Heritage Hall of America’s Fire Services and Fire Protection Disciplines, Inc.).

I authored and published “Firefighting with Henry’s Model T”, a pictorial history of the Model T role in the fire service. Proceeds from the book benefit six charitable organizations in the United States and Canada.  A link is available for an order form on this website.

This past July 21-26 we attended the 2008 Centennial Model T-Party in Richmond, Indiana, and drove our 1925 Model T fire chief’s buggy in the parade from the Wayne County Fairgrounds through the City of Richmond and back to the fairgrounds. What a sight, nearly 400 Model T Fords of every model and year, 1909-1927.

September was a busy month where we led the Delaware State Firemens Association Parade and the Lackey High School Reunion, classed 1923-67 in Indian Head, Maryland where the “T” was a hit with the attendees.
